We Buy Racks and Server Cabinets
Full-height cabinets, open two-post and four-post relay racks, wall-mount enclosures, network cabinets and the containment, PDUs, ladder rack and cable management around them. We break everything down, palletize it and load it ourselves.

What we buy
Standard 42U and 45U through 52U server cabinets with doors and side panels present, from APC, Vertiv, Chatsworth, Great Lakes, Tripp Lite, Rittal, HPE, Dell and the OEM cabinets that shipped with converged systems. Doors, panels and mounting hardware matter: a complete cabinet resells, a bare frame does not.
Open racks and structural steel are equally in scope — two-post and four-post relay racks, seismic-rated frames, wall-mount and network enclosures, and the ladder rack, cable tray, fiber raceway and vertical cable managers that tie a room together.
Containment is the piece most vendors decline and it is often the most tedious part of a decommissioning: hot and cold aisle roof and door panels, blanking panels, brush grommets, floor tiles and pedestals. We take it, break it down and remove it with everything else.
What racks are worth
Cabinet value is driven by completeness, brand and quantity. A matched lot of forty identical cabinets with all doors and side panels is a resalable product; forty mismatched cabinets missing doors are a steel recovery job. Recent-model cabinets from major manufacturers hold value best, and wide or deep formats built for high-density deployments command a premium because they are what current builds want.
In-cabinet PDUs frequently exceed the value of the cabinet itself. Switched and metered rack PDUs with network management cards have an active secondary market, so it is worth leaving them installed rather than pulling and boxing them separately.
Where a lot is not resalable, the number reflects steel, aluminum and copper recovery. We say which case applies before you commit, and we do not describe a scrap purchase as a resale purchase to make the paperwork look better.
We do the breakdown
Racks are heavy, awkward and full of fasteners nobody wants to spend a weekend removing. Our crews de-rack the equipment, strip the cabling, unbolt cabinets from the floor, disassemble containment, remove blanking panels and grommets, palletize or wrap the cabinets for transport, and sweep the space.
If your building requires floor protection, elevator padding, escorted access or specific working hours, that goes into the plan before we mobilize rather than becoming a conversation in the corridor at midnight.
