UPS System Buyers

We buy three-phase uninterruptible power supplies out of live and decommissioned white space: modular frames, monolithic units, matching battery cabinets and the static switches that go with them.

What we buy: UPS Systems

What we take

Modular UPS frames with their power modules in place, monolithic double-conversion units from 10 kVA up through 2.5 MVA, parallel cabinets, static transfer switches, maintenance bypass sections and the matching battery cabinets or open racks. We take VRLA strings and lithium cabinets. We also take frames with modules pulled, because the frame, the bypass gear and the batteries still carry value on their own.

What sets the number

Model generation matters more than age. A current-generation modular frame with a full complement of modules and a recent battery replacement prices as reusable equipment. An end-of-support monolithic unit with sulfated batteries prices closer to copper, steel and salvaged boards. Runtime capacity, whether the unit was under a service contract, and whether you have the last commissioning or load-bank report all move the number up.

Battery handling

Batteries are the part most sellers dread. We remove VRLA strings and lithium cabinets ourselves, palletize them to DOT requirements, and route them to a licensed recycler. You get the recycling documentation with your paperwork. Nothing gets left in your battery room for someone else to deal with.

03

What you are actually buying from us

01

We do the decommissioning

Our crews rack out the hardware, de-energize and pull the electrical distribution, recover refrigerant, drain glycol, cut and cap piping, and break down containment and cabinets. You are not hiring a broker who then hires a rigger who then hires a hauler. One company, one point of contact, one insurance certificate.

02

We do the loading

Rigging, lift and crane work, dock plates, pallets, stretch wrap, load bars, straps and the trucks themselves are ours. Overhead busway comes down on lifts. Generators and chillers go out on cranes. Servers leave palletized and manifested. Nothing about the load-out becomes your problem.

03

Payment before the truck leaves

You are paid in full before equipment leaves your dock — wire, company check or cashier's check, your choice. No consignment, no percentage of eventual resale, no invoice you have to chase. The racks stay where they are until the money has landed.

04

Drive destruction, documented

Every data-bearing device is degaussed and physically destroyed, on your floor if you prefer. You receive a certificate of destruction listing serial numbers and a chain-of-custody record signed at each handoff, formatted so your audit team can reconcile it against your asset register.

05

The room is left clean

Floor tiles reset, penetrations patched, abandoned cable removed, debris hauled, and the space swept. Where a landlord or lease requires a specific restoration standard, we work to it and document the result with photographs before and after.

06

Written offers that hold

Quotes are written, itemized by category, and hold for thirty days. If your process needs a formal bid document, a W-9, a certificate of insurance naming your entity, or a purchase order reference on the offer, say so and it is on the paperwork.

Frequently asked questions

Do you buy ups systems that is still installed?
Most of what we buy is still installed and often still energized when we first see it. We coordinate the outage, de-energize, disconnect and remove.
What information do you need to quote ups systems?
Make, model and quantity, plus 10 kva – 2.5 mva modules where it applies. Nameplate photographs are the single most useful thing you can send.
Which manufacturers do you buy?
All of them. Most common in this category: Eaton, Vertiv/Liebert, Schneider/APC, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, ABB, Riello. Unusual brands still get purchased, they simply price against a thinner buyer pool.
Do you take the whole room or just this category?
Either. We would rather buy the room complete, because mixed lots are how projects finish cleanly, but a single category is a normal purchase.
When do we get paid?
Before the equipment leaves your dock — wire, company check or cashier's check, per load on phased projects.
