Data center equipment buyers in Marathon
We work with Marathon colocation operators, hospital systems, universities, banks, manufacturers and government facilities on the same footing: send us what is in the room, we send back a number and a plan. If the site is sensitive we bring escorted crews, badge documentation and certified drive destruction with serialized reporting.
What Florida conditions mean for your number
Service in Marathon is covered from our Florida routing along I-95, I-75, I-4 and the Turnpike. Coordination with FPL, Duke Energy Florida, TECO, JEA for de-energization and metering removal is part of the job, not a change order. The NAP of the Americas in Miami anchors Latin American traffic and a dense carrier hotel cluster, while hurricane-season generator turnover keeps standby sets moving through the state year-round. Our purchasing desk is based in South Florida.
What we buy in Marathon
UPS Systems
We buy three-phase uninterruptible power supplies out of live and decommissioned white space: modular frames, monolithic units, matching battery cabinets and the static switches that go with them.
10 kVA – 2.5 MVA modulesFloor-mount, RPP and rack PDUsPDUs
Floor-mount PDUs with integral transformers, remote power panels, and metered or switched rack PDUs by the pallet — we buy all three tiers of distribution.
50 kVA – 1000 kVA floor unitsOverhead track, tap boxes, elbowsBusway
Overhead busway is the most reusable thing in a white space and the most commonly thrown away. We buy full runs, tap-off boxes, elbows and end feeds.
225 A – 5000 A runsLV and MV, ATS, breakersSwitchgear
Low-voltage lineups, medium-voltage metal-clad gear, automatic transfer switches and loose breakers — bought as complete lineups or section by section.
480 V – 38 kV lineupsDiesel and gas, enclosed or openGenerators
Standby diesel and natural gas generator sets, sub-base and belly tanks, paralleling gear and radiator packages — running or not.
100 kW – 3 MW standby setsAir-cooled, water-cooled, CRAH/CRACChillers
Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, CRAC and CRAH units, pumps and dry coolers — the whole mechanical plant.
50 – 2000 ton capacityCompute, storage, network, GPUServers
Rackmount compute, storage arrays, network gear and GPU nodes — bought by the rack or by the hall, with documented data destruction.
Single racks – full hallsEverything the equipment sits inData Center Infrastructure
Cabinets, containment, cable tray, raised floor, fiber and copper plant — the structure everything else was mounted in.
Cabinets, tray, containment, floorHow a project runs
Paperwork travels with the project: certificate of insurance naming your entity, W-9, a signed purchase agreement listing every asset and its price, serialized drive destruction certificates where drives are in scope, and weight tickets or a bill of lading for what leaves the Marathon site. Facilities, security and finance each get the document they need.
How the offer is built
What drives the number is condition, generation and demand, in that order. A modular UPS with its power modules intact is worth substantially more than the same frame stripped. A generator with documented low hours and recent load bank results beats an identical unit with no records. Recent-generation servers hold real value; anything past its useful platform life is priced closer to material. We will tell you which bucket your Marathon equipment falls into before you commit to anything.
Data security and compliance
Nothing leaves a Marathon site undocumented. Asset tags and serials are recorded as equipment comes out, drives are separated and handled under their own chain of custody, and you receive a reconciled report that your security team can file against the original asset register.
What you are actually buying from us
We do the decommissioning
Our crews rack out the hardware, de-energize and pull the electrical distribution, recover refrigerant, drain glycol, cut and cap piping, and break down containment and cabinets. You are not hiring a broker who then hires a rigger who then hires a hauler. One company, one point of contact, one insurance certificate.
We do the loading
Rigging, lift and crane work, dock plates, pallets, stretch wrap, load bars, straps and the trucks themselves are ours. Overhead busway comes down on lifts. Generators and chillers go out on cranes. Servers leave palletized and manifested. Nothing about the load-out becomes your problem.
Payment before the truck leaves
You are paid in full before equipment leaves your dock — wire, company check or cashier's check, your choice. No consignment, no percentage of eventual resale, no invoice you have to chase. The racks stay where they are until the money has landed.
Drive destruction, documented
Every data-bearing device is degaussed and physically destroyed, on your floor if you prefer. You receive a certificate of destruction listing serial numbers and a chain-of-custody record signed at each handoff, formatted so your audit team can reconcile it against your asset register.
The room is left clean
Floor tiles reset, penetrations patched, abandoned cable removed, debris hauled, and the space swept. Where a landlord or lease requires a specific restoration standard, we work to it and document the result with photographs before and after.
Written offers that hold
Quotes are written, itemized by category, and hold for thirty days. If your process needs a formal bid document, a W-9, a certificate of insurance naming your entity, or a purchase order reference on the offer, say so and it is on the paperwork.
